Call for Papers | Special Issue: Five Years After the Fall of the Republic

The Afghanistan Economic Studies Center (AESC) plans to publish a special issue entitled:

“Five Years After the Fall of the Republic: Afghanistan’s Economy Under Taliban Rule (2021–2026)”

Researchers, university professors, economists, graduate students, and development practitioners are invited to submit scholarly and analytical papers on topics related to Afghanistan’s economy.

Thematic areas for the special issue include macroeconomics, labour markets, banking and finance, trade and regional connectivity, poverty and human development, agriculture and food security, natural resources, education and human capital, migration, governance, women’s economic participation, and future scenarios for Afghanistan’s economy.
